When you send a message through a contact form provided on the website or get in touch with Fields Veterinary Physiotherapy via email, phone or social media, we collect the personal information you give us such as first name, last name, address, email and contact number is collected in addition to information about your animal, its medical history and current condition. The location of the animal i.e. yard/ home address will be collected to provide treatment for your animal. Personal data and data about your animal will be kept in a password-protected file on a password-protected computer.

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications), comments, feedback, recommendations, and personal profile.

How is the data collected used?

• To contact you regarding organising an appointment and about your animal's treatment 

• Contact regarding general or personalised service-related notices and promotional messages (you can opt-out of promotional messages) 

• Payment 

• To provide and operate services 

• To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective services; 

• To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

 

Data Retention

Personal information is retained for as long as needed or permitted in light of its purpose(s) for which it was obtained and consistent with applicable law. The criteria used to determine our retention period include: 

• All data is required to be retained for 7 years after the last treatment of your animal as specified by my insurance 

• Whether there is a legal obligation to which we are subject (for example, specific laws require us to keep records of your transactions for a certain period of time before we can delete them.

• Your personal data is required to enable me to keep detailed records about your animal(s) and the treatments they require for my insurance company. 

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with an online platform to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.  

Dispute resolution or filing a complaint

If you have any complaints regarding compliance with this Privacy Policy, please contact me. I will investigate and attempt to resolve complaints and disputes regarding the use and disclosure of personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and in accordance with applicable law.
